The project is to renew an apartment aim to improve the insufficient illumination, space and function. The apartment is inside a 21 years old residential building, almost all the walls in the apartment is unremovable reinforced concrete structure. Therefore, the new internal organization needs to rearrange without changing the original floor plan.

The main idea of this project is to set up a new bigger kitchen at where the smallest bedroom was to enable the apartment has both the bigger bathroom and kitchen. A long wide passageway integrates all the function areas (entrance space, new kitchen, dinner table, living space, office desk) become one big open room to have brighter roomy and more comfortable condition with less space requirement.

The limitation of the apartment space demand a function combination, kitchen and dining room, wash bathtub and shower room, study room and living room, integrate all the possible function element to free more space. Moreover, using any possible corners and walls for the storage needs instead of occupating the room by cabinets to reduce the feeling of straitness.
